The Ruby Lake Lagoon Nature Reserve Society is a registered Canadian charity. Donations are tax deductible and charitable tax receipts will be issued on all donations of $10 and up.

    Donation - Any amount you choose to contribute as a gift will help the Lagoon Society

    Monthly Giving Program - Become a sustaining supporter of the Lagoon Society through pre-authorized payment through your credit card or bank account

    Gift in Honour - Celebrate the birthday, anniversary, marriage or graduation of a friend or family member with a Gift in Honour. Your donation will lend special meaning to the occasion and the person you are honouring will appreciate your thoughtfulness. The Lagoon Society can also send a card on your behalf to acknowledge your gift.

    Gift in Memory - Honour the memory of a friend, colleague or loved one who has passed on with a Gift in Memory. The Lagoon Society can send a card to the bereaved family to acknowledge your memorial gift.

By making a donation, you help the Lagoon Society to:

  • Educate about local natural history and broad conservation issues
  • Provide wildlife and conservation education for school-aged students
  • Offer courses for adult professionals and hobbyists in ecology and related fields
  • Provide a field base for scientific research and ecological monitoring
  • Maintain a sustainable green building to promote leadership in energy conservation
  • Restore wetlands to provide valuable habitat for a variety of wildlife species
  • Operate a facility that the whole community can enjoy and use for exploration, courses, events, and research
